How duels work

A duel is a scoreboard for a friendly rivalry in Clash Royale or Brawl Stars. You do not play on EveryGameStat; you play in the game. The site reads both official battle logs and keeps score, so nobody has to be trusted to report honestly.

Starting a duel

  1. Go to Duels, pick the game, and choose a mode.
  2. Enter your player tag, choose best of 3, 5 or 7, and create the duel. You get a short code.
  3. Send the code or the link to your opponent. They enter it together with their own tag.
  4. Play. The duel page updates itself; you can also keep it open and get a notification when a match is counted.

No account is needed. Duels you created or joined are remembered in your browser, and if you are logged in they are attached to your account so you see them on any device.

Head to head

In head to head mode only matches between the two tags count. You play each other directly in the game, through friendly battles in your clan or through a challenge link. The site checks the battle log of both players and counts a match when it appears in both with matching opponents. The first to the required number of wins takes the duel: 2 wins in a best of 3, 3 in a best of 5, 4 in a best of 7.

Race mode

In race mode you do not play each other. Each of you plays the agreed number of ladder matches against random opponents, and whoever wins more takes the duel. If both win the same number, the tiebreak is the crown balance in Clash Royale and the trophy balance in Brawl Stars, calculated over the counted matches. Race mode works when you and your friend are in very different leagues, or when you cannot play at the same time.

How matches are verified

Supercell's API returns roughly the last 25 battles of a player. The duel is synced every few minutes by the server and whenever someone opens the page. A match is only counted once, and only if it was played after the duel was created. Because the battle log is short, do not play dozens of other matches before syncing, or a duel match can scroll out of the log before it is read.

What does not count

  • Matches played before the duel was created.
  • In head to head: matches against anyone other than your opponent.
  • In race mode: friendly battles and matches in modes without a win or loss result.

History and deleting

Finished duels stay in your list so you can settle who is really better over time. Either player can delete a duel; that removes it for both.

Duels use publicly available data from Supercell's API. This feature is unofficial and not endorsed by Supercell.
