Why a desktop app when the site already exists
Web APIs stop at what a platform chooses to publish. Rocket League on Steam exposes no match results, Minecraft has no online profile, and no platform tells you how long a session lasted today. The EGS Companion is a free Windows app that measures those things on your own PC and sends the summaries to your EveryGameStat account: per-match Rocket League results with goals, saves and win rate, Minecraft Java hours per server with deaths and advancements, and start and end times for any detected game, FiveM included.
It only reads game logs and process names, never chat, screenshots or other files. It is in alpha. The Companion guide lists exactly what it measures and where the limits are.
Windows SmartScreen warning
The installer is not code-signed yet. The first time you run it, Windows may show a blue screen saying "Windows protected your PC" with "Unknown publisher". Windows does that for new apps without a signature; it says nothing about what the app does. Click More info, check that the file is EGS-Companion-Setup.exe, then click Run anyway. Download the installer only from this page or the official release page.
