Riot ID, ranks and LP in League of Legends and TFT

League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics share one identity, the Riot ID, and one ranked ladder structure. Here is how the site finds you and what the rank on your card means.

Riot ID and tagline

Since 2023 every Riot account is identified by a Riot ID: a name, a hash sign and a tagline, for example Player#EUW. The tagline is not always your region; it is whatever you chose, and two players can have the same name with different taglines. You find yours in the Riot client under your name, or in the game's profile. When linking, enter both parts and pick your region, because the same Riot ID can exist on several regional servers.

Tiers, divisions and LP

Ranked in both games uses tiers from Iron through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster to Challenger. Iron through Diamond are split into divisions IV to I. Within a division you earn League Points, LP, from 0 to 100. Reach 100 and you move up a division; drop below 0 and you risk demotion. Master and above have no divisions and LP just keeps climbing; Grandmaster and Challenger are cutoffs based on the top of the ladder in each region.

The card shows tier, division, LP, and the ranked win rate with the number of games it is based on. The site reads all of that from Riot's official API, so it matches the client exactly at the time of the last sync.

Queues

League of Legends has separate ranks for Solo/Duo and Flex. Teamfight Tactics has its own ranked ladder plus a separate rating for Double Up and turbo modes. EveryGameStat shows the queues the API returns for your account; a queue you have never played ranked in simply is not listed.

Level and summoner data

Account level goes up with every game played and has no cap. Champion mastery in League and match history are available too, and the game page shows the parts the API returns for a public account.

Season resets

Riot resets ranks at the start of each season, and in League of Legends since 2024 there are multiple splits per year with a softer reset between them. After a reset you place lower than where you ended and climb back with placement games. Your card reflects the current split, and the weekly recap shows the change over the last seven days.

Public tracker

You do not need an account to look up any player: the League of Legends tracker and TFT tracker take a Riot ID and region and read live from Riot's API.
