Is EveryGameStat free?

Yes. Linking your accounts, your player card, the library and the leaderboard are free and stay free. There is no trial and no credit card.

Do you need my platform password?

No. Every platform is linked read-only through its official API or a public profile link. We never ask for a platform password and we cannot change anything in your account.

Which platforms are supported?

Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Riot Games, Supercell, PUBG, Fortnite and Battle.net are live today. More platforms are added based on what users request most.

How often do my stats update?

A background sync refreshes linked accounts automatically. You can also trigger a sync yourself from your profile at any time.

Can I look up other players without an account?

Yes. The public search works without signing up. You only need an account to build your own player card.

Where do the numbers come from?

Only from official platform APIs. Nothing is estimated or filled in. If a platform does not expose a number, the field stays empty instead of showing a zero.

The setting that hides your hours

Steam has separate privacy switches for your profile, your game details and your friends list. The one that controls hours and achievements is Game details. If it is set to Friends Only or Private, Steam's API returns your game list without any playtime and without achievements, or returns nothing at all.

Open Steam and click your name at the top, then View Profile.

Click Edit Profile, then Privacy Settings in the left column.

Set My profile to Public.

Set Game details to Public.

Below Game details there is a separate checkbox, Always keep my total playtime private even if users can see my game details. Make sure it is unchecked. This is the one most people miss.

Save, then sync on your EveryGameStat profile page.

Your friends list and inventory can stay private; the site does not read them.

Finding your Steam ID

You can link Steam with either your profile URL or your 17-digit Steam ID (also called SteamID64). The URL is the easiest: copy it from the address bar while viewing your profile. It looks like steamcommunity.com/id/yourname or steamcommunity.com/profiles/7656119.... Both work. If you prefer the number, click Edit Profile and look for the Steam ID line, or paste your profile URL in the site and it resolves the number for you.

What still stays hidden on a public profile

Hidden games. Games you have marked as hidden in your library are not returned by the API.

Family shared games. Steam only lists games you own. Hours in a shared game count for the owner's account.

Tools and some free-to-play games. Software such as Wallpaper Engine is returned, but tools like Source SDK Base are not. Free-to-play games you never launched may also be missing.

Per-game statistics. Detailed stats such as kills or accuracy only exist for games whose developer publishes them through Steam. Counter-Strike 2, Rust, Team Fortress 2, Dead by Daylight and Tekken 7 do; many games only expose achievement counters.

Changed the setting and still nothing?

Steam caches profile privacy for a short while. Wait a few minutes, then use the sync button on your profile page. If a specific game still shows no hours, check whether it is hidden in your Steam library. If everything is public and a game still looks wrong, report it in the Discord with the game name.
