How to find your Clash Royale player tag
Your player tag is the code that identifies your Clash Royale account. It is the only thing any stats site needs from you, including this one. No password, no login, no email.
Where to find it
- Open Clash Royale.
- Tap your name in the top left corner to open your profile.
- Under your name you will see a code that starts with a hash sign, for example
#2UCCYGGR. - Tap it. The game copies the tag to your clipboard and usually shows a short confirmation.
Paste it into the search box on the Clash Royale hub and your profile is read live from Supercell's official API. The hash sign is optional; the site adds it if you leave it out.
Which characters a tag can contain
Supercell tags only use these characters: 0, 2, 8, 9, P, Y, L, Q, G, R, J, C, U and V. That list matters, because the characters that are missing are the ones people type by mistake.
- There is no letter O in a tag. What looks like an O is the digit 0.
- There is no digit 1 and no letter I.
- There is no letter S and no digit 5.
- Tags are not case sensitive, so lowercase works too.
If a lookup fails and you are sure the account exists, this is almost always the reason. Copy the tag from the game instead of typing it.
Player tag or clan tag
Both start with a hash sign and use the same characters, so they are easy to mix up. Your player tag is under your own name on your profile. A clan tag is under the clan name on the clan page and identifies the group, not you. A player search with a clan tag returns nothing, because they live in separate parts of the API.
The same tag in other Supercell games
Brawl Stars and Clash of Clans work exactly the same way, but each game gives your account its own tag. Your Clash Royale tag does not work on the Brawl Stars hub, and the other way around. Find each one in that game's own profile screen.
Sharing your tag
A player tag is public information. Anyone who has it can look up your trophies, your lifetime record, your deck and your recent battles, because that is what Supercell publishes. What nobody can do with it is log in, change anything, or see your email address. That is why sharing it for a duel or a stats lookup is safe.
What you can do with it here
- Look up any profile on the Clash Royale hub: trophies, Path of Legends, king level, current deck with card levels, battle log, upcoming chests, card collection and badges.
- Challenge someone to a duel and let the official battle log keep score.
- Link the tag to your own account so Clash Royale appears on your player card next to your other platforms.
